Sibs For brothers and sisters

Sibs - For brothers and sisters of disabled children and adults (www.sibs.org.uk)

Sibs is the only UK charity for children and adults who are growing up with or have grown up with a disabled brother or sister, representing the needs of over half a million young siblings and over one and a half million adult siblings. We provide information, support and training on sibling issues for adult siblings, young siblings, parents and professionals.

How it can help

Sibs provides online support for young siblings (aged 7-17 years old), adult siblings, parents and professionals.

Support includes:

  • information about disabilities or conditions
  • news and top tips
  • online and face to face adult sibling support groups
  • events such as workshops and courses
  • adult sibling guides, sibling stories and eBooks
