Mersea Island Festival
The Mersea Island Festival brings together children, young people and adults with or without a physical or learning disability to take part in a wide variety of activities that challenge, stimulate and build confidence, while at the same time are fun and exciting!
Ideal for families, inclusive groups or individuals with support, the Festival offers a wide range of activities including archery, zipline, paddleboarding and climbing. And for the not so adventurous there’s our Art Tent, music workshops and swimming pool.
Come for a day or two – or six - or stay for the week or weekend. For those staying, accommodation is mostly under canvas but we do have some indoor accommodation. The whole site is on one level and the halls, bar, toilet and shower blocks are wheelchair accessible. Accessible toilet and shower facilities are available, the swimming pool has a hoist and portable hoists are available. Please let us know of any specific needs when you book.
