Refresh Your Hiring & Recruitment Practices
Recruit Broader Demographic Talent
Reward Employers who are Inclusive by Design
Refresh:
Our First Element is aimed at helping local businesses break poor recruitment behaviours, by offering a Free CPD course for Hiring Managers and HR Professionals.
By completing our free course employers can learn to:
- Write Better Job Descriptions & Realistic Person Profiles
- Understand Alternative Routes to Recruitment, such as Apprenticeships
- Remove Unintentional Bias from Screening & Shortlisting
- Creating Fairer Interviewing and Assessment Exercises
- Offering Reasonable Adjustments, and Onboarding
Better Hiring Practices, brings better hiring decisions, appointing the right person at the right time, which translates to greater employee retention and loyalty.
Recruit:
Our Second Element supports Local Businesses and the Local Workforce alike by aligning employers with local job candidates from underrepresented groups.
This takes the form of a Free Recruitment Service which helps local businesses tackle the hurdles of hiring from broader demographics in the local community.
We work to support underrepresented groups into rewarding jobs or work placements. These include:
- Veterans
- Ex Offenders
- The Over 50s
- Migrant workers
- People with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities
This brings many benefits, such as improved workplace diversity, greater employee retention, and enhances the reputation of the business.
Reward:
Our Third Element provides public recognition for Local Businesses who foster an Inclusive and Diverse Workplace, by offering our Inclusive Employer Accreditation.
This can be achieved quickly & simply by completing our Free Equality, Diversity, & Inclusion audit. We will then provide helpful feedback and guidance, assisting you in implementing any improvements, from simple changes, right through to policy amendments.
Once achieved our Inclusive Accreditation Quality Mark can be proudly displayed on your website, in promotional materials, and throughout your workspace to signify your ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion.
As an accredited inclusive employer, you are not only enhancing your company’s reputation but also contributing to a broader societal change that values diversity as a strength.
